Katrina Ford has announced her new album To The Lighthouse, due out October 30th. The announcement is accompanied by the release of the single 'Winter Sun.' The track follows lead single 'Transcending,' which earned support from Brooklyn Vegan, FLOOD Magazine, Northern Transmissions, and more. To The Lighthouse is Ford's first full length since her 2024 LP H.E.A.R.T, which garnered acclaim from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, KEXP, All Music, and many others.

'It's the morning after the Dark Night of the Soul, facing shadows for better days to come,' Ford says of the track. 'In the tropics there exists the phenomenon of a zero shadow day, where the Sun is directly overhead at noon and casts no shadow. Eerily, it makes everything look like it's floating. I dreamt of being free from the shadow—my negative self forever following.
