Rapper Macklemore has announced that nine major U.S. arenas have declined to host his 'Free Palestine' benefit tour. The venues include Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center, Barclays Center, UBS Arena, Intuit Dome, Kia Forum, Crypto.com Arena, Chase Center, and Climate Pledge Arena. Macklemore expressed disappointment over the rejections, stating that after weeks of outreach, these venues refused to host the event. He emphasized that the tour aims to support Palestinian aid organizations and criticized the suppression of such initiatives. The rapper also noted that in over 20 years of touring, he has never encountered such resistance. In response to the rejections, Macklemore is considering alternative venues, including outdoor stages, to continue his advocacy for Palestinian support. The tour had previously sold out performances in Dublin, Paris, and London, receiving positive reviews for its message and impact.
