Martin Garrix Announces Debut Pop Album 'MARTY' Featuring Madonna, U2, and Ed Sheeran

Martin Garrix, the acclaimed Dutch DJ and producer, has announced his debut pop album, 'MARTY,' scheduled for release on March 5, 2027, through STMPD Records/Darkroom Records. This 14-track album marks a significant evolution in Garrix's career, blending pop and dance elements while showcasing his own vocals.

'MARTY' features collaborations with several renowned artists, including Madonna, U2, and Ed Sheeran. Notably, U2's frontman, Bono, has contributed as a co-writer on the album. The album's opening track, 'Catharina,' is a tribute to Garrix's mother and sets the tone for the personal narrative that unfolds throughout the record.

The announcement was made during a Spotify Pop-Up show at the Amsterdam Dance Event, where Garrix treated attendees to a first listen of several unreleased tracks. He expressed that the album represents growth and moving through different chapters of life, emphasizing that the love and energy we put into the world don't disappear when we're gone.

Prior to the album's release, Garrix has been active with several high-profile collaborations. He joined Madonna on 'Bizarre' from her latest album, 'Confessions II,' and reunited with Ed Sheeran on 'Repeat It,' a collaboration more than a decade in the making. Additionally, Garrix premiered a new collaboration with Spanish singer Aitana during sold-out shows at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes.

Fans can anticipate more details as the release date approaches, with Garrix's international touring schedule continuing across Latin America, including stops in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Peru, before headlining the Ultra Music Festival 2027 in Miami from March 26-28.
