Today, Mei Semones announces her new album, Howl, out January 15th, which will be her first release for her new label home, Verve/Interscope and shares its lead single/video, "Howl." Her bilingual songwriting works in much the same way. Few songwriters weave between languages as naturally as Semones does, slipping between English and Japanese within the same song - sometimes the same line - and letting both languages become part of the music itself.
