U2 Announces 2027 World Tour and New Album 'Carnaval De Luz'

U2, the renowned Irish rock band, has announced their 2027 world tour, titled 'Carnaval de Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth.' The tour will commence on February 23, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, marking the band's return to stadium performances since 2019. Additional dates in Europe and North America are expected to be announced soon.

In conjunction with the tour, U2 is set to release their 16th studio album, 'Carnaval De Luz,' on November 13, 2026. This album marks the band's first collection of new material in nine years. The 12-track album includes collaborations with Rosalía on 'The Mirror Maker' and Dolly Parton on 'Torn.' Notably, 'Torn' features Parton's final recorded vocal performance, co-written with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, and addresses themes of broken family ties. The album is produced by Jacknife Lee and is described as a powerful and eclectic mix by band members Bono and The Edge.

Fans can look forward to a blend of U2's classic sound with fresh collaborations, as the band celebrates their 50th anniversary with this new release and tour.
