Tina Dico is introducing herself properly to Canadian audiences with 'Surfing,' the first single from her forthcoming new album, 'Balancing Small Things On Sharp Edges,' due October 23. The release marks a significant milestone for the Danish singer/songwriter, who has topped the Danish album charts five times and is now returning to North America through her first release on a Canadian label, DMP/Fontana North/Universal.

'Surfing' finds Dico reflecting on the invisible threads that connect people to one another and to the wider world. 'To me, "Surfing" is about how we're all connected,' she explains. 'You feel it every day in a family, where every person's mood, character, words and actions affect everyone else. But it's obviously true on a much bigger scale. What one person throws into the world ripples outward.
